Are you single, married, have children, have pets?

Just celebrated 10 years with my husband & best friend, David. Wow, time flies! 

And God has gifted us with 3 amazing kiddos… Drew,8 Kate,6 & Carter,4.

What city and state do you live in?

I live in Troy, Alabama

What fires you up about photography?

Knowing that I am preserving memories for someone fires me up about photography. 

Life passes so quickly, and I believe a photograph helps us hang on to those moments 

we never want to end & those faces we never want to forget. And knowing my gift of 

photography is from God, I strive to glorify Him and serve Him  with all my heart, mind 

and soul - and that fires me up as well.

What is something no one knows about you?

That’s the toughest question for us all, I think…. let’s see what I can think of… I pray

 and listen to worship music while I run - (the album is actually called “Run & Worship” :)

If you could live your perfect day, what would you do?

My perfect day would consist of being with my family in our most favorite place to

be…Watercolor, Fl. We’d ride bikes along 30-a (the most amazing scenic highway 

ever), eat at our favorite restaurants, play and relax on the beach, play in the pool, 

play on the greens and walk the trails and in the gardens. We’d watch the sunset then

 go to the outdoor movie and have ice cream. For it to be perfect everyone would 

have patience, no one would get tired and whiney.. we’d all be joyful and thankful 

for our perfect day :)

What are your five best traits?

So…I got some thoughts from friends - they say I am sincere, charitable, patient, 

peaceful & genuine

What is your current favorite inspiring blog or book? (Not a photographer’s blog, please.)

Southern Weddings (iloveswmag.com)  I’d love to meet each one of those ladies in person

some day.. If I could work with any group of sourthern girls, they would be my top 

choice - they seem so fun, so real, so encouraging, and so talented!

What is one thing you are thankful for today?

My faith.

What’s your favorite Christmas album?

Christmas WOW 2011 - “You’re Here” by Francesca Battistelli is my song of the 

season so far!! It’s beautiful!

Coffee or tea?

Starbucks - venti, White Chocolate Mocha, 1 pump, with whip to be exact (can you 

believe they normally put 5 pumps in a venti - that is pure sweetness!??!). We do not have

 a Starbucks in Troy, so my hubs and I have mastered the coffee by grinding our own beans

 and adding steamed milk and Ghiradelli white chocolate - we make it every single morning, Yum!
